NORTH CAROLINA PUBLIC HEALTH ASSOCIATION
ANNUAL AWARDS
The Eastern District North Carolina Public Health Association
presents outstanding Individual Achievement, Outstanding Career
Achievement, Outstanding Public Health Department and Scholarship
awards annually at the Awards Banquet during the Annual Educational
Conference.
NOTE: The Outstanding Individual Achievement Award was changed to the Stacy H. Covil Outstanding Individual Achievement Award in 2005, so that is now the official name of the award.
STACY H.COVIL OUTSTANDING INDIVIDUAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARD |
The individual who receives this award will
have demonstrated outstanding achievemnet in a specific health
related project, program or activity within the past two years.
Priority is given to selecting an individual who has been
instrumental in providing significant local, regional or state
impact, or the potential of such impact, as a result of implementing
the project, program, or activity.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS |
Scholarships are presented to present public
health workers residing in the fifty-five counties compristing
the Eastern District North Carolina Public Health Association
for graduate study, undergraduate study, and technical/associate
degree or certificate in a public health discipline. These
scholarships are presented on an anual basis. |
